«Aged Rocky Tea» made by tea-farmer Yan Long (Rocky Dragon) is a real «Yan Cha» grown in a limited Wuyi Mountain Nature Reserve area. During manufacturing the tea leaves were exposed to strong fermentation and baked on charcoal in traditional style (high heat).
Dry leaf: lengthwise twisted, large, dark brown color. The aroma is warm, roasted, with spicy and biscuit nuances. The liquor is transparent, meadow honey color.
The brewed tea has rich, mature, roasted flavour with hints of spicy biscuit and wood. The aroma is warm and deep. The taste is juicy, silky, sweetish with a light sourness and spicy nuances, transforming into lingering aftertaste.
Brew tea with hot boiling water (95°C) in a porcelain gaiwan or a teapot of porous clay. The proportion is 4-5 g per 100 ml. The time of the first steeping is about 7-8 seconds. After that do short steeps (just for 1-2 seconds), increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can repeat this method up to 7 times.
