The gongfu tea tasting can be seen as kung fu tea ceremony (Chinese: 工夫茶 or 功夫茶). This tea tasting involves the ritual preparation and presentation of tea. The term literally means "making tea with skill".
Gongfu tea is a traditional tea tasting, characterised by multiple infusions of the same tea in a small teapot. This way of brewing is originated from Chaozhou during the Song Dynasty, which is why it's also often referred to as 'Chaozhou Gongfu Cha'.
