Pine Nut Green Tea is a traditional high-mountain green tea known for its clean aroma and tightly rolled needle-shaped leaves. The tea originates from Guizhou Province, where cool temperatures, deep forests, and persistent mountain mist create conditions ideal for slow, nutrient-rich leaf growth.
Grown at elevations between 500 and 900 meters, the tea is harvested in early spring, when the buds are tender and rich in natural amino acids.
The picking standard is one bud with one or two leaves, selected entirely by hand to preserve the leaf integrity. Processing follows classic Guizhou-style green tea techniques: withering, pan-firing, shaping into slender pine-needle strips, and slow drying to lock in freshness. This method preserves both the tea’s vivid green color and its characteristic “pine-nut aroma,” a naturally occurring fragrance formed from the interaction of high mountain air, fine leaf material, and careful pan-firing.
The infusion is clear and bright, with a refreshing taste that combines natural sweetness, a hint of alpine herbaceousness, and a lingering light floral finish. Its character is smooth and steady, offering a clean and energizing cup suitable for daily drinking.
High in tea polyphenols, catechins, and amino acids, Pine Nut Green Tea supports digestion, metabolism, and antioxidant activity.
Brew at around 80°C to allow the thin leaves to unfurl fully and release their fresh, sweet mountain fragrance.
