It all began with Sergey Shevelev, founder of Moychay International. After more than 15 years traveling through China, visiting hundreds of plantations and tasting thousands of teas, Sergey became more than just a tea sommelier — he became a flavor explorer and an ambassador of origin-sourced tea.
Moychay was born from that journey, along with its extensive tea collection — a carefully curated selection of the most exceptional loose-leaf teas, chosen for their flavor, character, and authenticity. Each variety was hand-selected by Sergey after years of exploration and dialogue with local producers.
Today, Moychay is a global community with tea houses in multiple countries, united by a passion for authentic, artisanal tea.
We’ve brought together a unique collection of over 250 loose-leaf teas, sourced directly from 13 countries including China, Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, India, Vietnam, and Georgia. All of our teas are natural — with no additives or artificial flavorings.
We also offer more than 1,000 tools and accessories, from Yixing teapots to gaiwans, tea trays, and tea pets.
At our tea shop and upcoming Tea Culture Club in the heart of Barcelona, you can also enjoy Gong Fu Cha ceremonies — the traditional Chinese method of tea preparation that emphasizes harmony, mindfulness, and relaxation.
