In this one-and-a-half-hour workshop, you will make a deep approach to the culture, history, and aesthetics surrounding the traditional Japanese tea ceremony. In this dedicated learning space, you will understand the layout and meaning of a traditional tea room and get to know the basic utensils in detail.
Furthermore, you will be introduced to the protocols and codes required to act as a proper host or a respectful guest, learning to appreciate matcha in its fullest dimension. At the end of the theoretical part, you will taste a traditional Japanese sweet (wagashi) alongside a bowl of premium matcha, where you will also learn the precise movements to prepare it yourself using the bamboo whisk.
