In appearance: large, lengthwise twisted leaves of brown color. The fragrance is deep and warm, pastry with spicy accent. The liquor is transparent, with dark amber hue.
The bouquet of brewed tea is warm and mature, complex, with notes of pastry and spice, wood and cognac, dried fruits and balms. The fragrance is deep and warm, woody-floral. The taste is rich and mild, sweetish, with delicate fruity sourness, spicy nuances and mineral notes distinctive for true yancha. The aftertaste is long and refreshing.
Brew tea with hot water (95°C) in a porcelain gaiwan or a teapot of porous clay. The proportion is 5 g per 100 ml. The first infusion should last for 5-7 seconds. After that do short brews (just for 1-2 seconds), increasing exposure time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can repeat this method up to 8 times.
Oolong «Aged Yancha» is an excellent yancha for sophisticated connoisseurs – with a classical «melody of cliffs» in taste and aroma. The effect is warming, relaxing and meditative.
